Terms & Conditions

Use of Barber County Released Inmates signifies agreement to these terms. If you do not accept every term, do not use the site or its search tools. These conditions apply to the private reference pages and do not replace the rules of Barber County, Kansas courts, KDOC, or any linked service.

This privately owned reference has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Independent Outbound Services

Links may lead to Barber County release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, or outside search providers. Linking does not endorse a destination. The site does not control its content, data practices, terms, price, or availability, so review the destination’s rules before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free of errors or security flaws, or that a partner search will return every relevant result.

Custody and public-record data change often. Nothing here is an official statement by Barber County Sheriff, Barber County Jail, KDOC, a court, BOP, ICE, or another government agency.

Liability Is Limited

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the site, its owners, and its content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, and its partners from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use, misuse, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless otherwise identified, site text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Barber County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may be changed at any time. A revision becomes effective when posted. Continued use after publication signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice, including when use appears to violate these conditions.

Kansas Governing Law

These terms are governed by Kansas law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas. Requests for Barber County public records remain subject to the Kansas Open Records Act, K.S.A. 45-215 through 45-223, and the responsible agency’s procedures.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable.
